Our experienced Hospice team provides education and ensures that you or your loved one receives competent, compassionate care in the comfort of home. At Serenity, we consider death to be a final stage of life. As such, we help our hospice patients live their final days to the fullest in the comfort of home, surrounded by family.
Compassionate Care & Loving Relationships
At Serenity, we seek to build loving relationships, ensure patient’s dignity, encourage family support, relieve symptoms and control pain, and offer family bereavement support for at least a year after death. Because of our emphasis on relationships, many of our patients consider us a part of their family.

Hospice Plan Coverage and Payment
Eighty percent of hospice patients are over 65 and qualify for Medicare coverage.
Medicare, HMO seniors, VA and most insurance plans provide:
• 100% coverage with no deductible and no co-pay
• Full coverage of medications related to the terminal illness
• Usual and customary medical supplies are also covered
Hospice Benefit Periods include:
• The initial 90 days
• The subsequent 90 days
• Extra 60 day extensions (unlimited)
